ARMED men on Monday killed four people, including a 10-year-old girl, in a gun attack in Bgy. Ladia, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
Slain were Mokaram Sarat, 73; Basit Gampong, 63; Kadir Sarat Indao, 29; and Rohana Sarat Indao, 10.
Three others were injured and are being treated at the hospital. They were Noria Basit Indao, 35; Hasim Ali Omar, 32; and Rohamin Ali Omar, 17.
The Sultan Kudarat police said the shooting occurred at 1:20 p.m. on Monday at Sitio Katorse, Bgy. Ladia, Sultan Kudarat.
An investigation showed the victims were resting when six men armed with high-powered firearms arrived in a minivan and without a wourd shot them repeatedly.
The suspects fled after the shooting.
Witnesses rushed the victims to the hospital, where four were declared dead on arrival.
It was learned that the victims were new in the place and had not received any death threats prior to the gun attack.
