POLICE on Sunday arrested a man accused of robbing a mini mart in Bacolor, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the suspect as alias “Eddie,” 51, of Bgy. San Nicolas, Angeles City.
The suspect was caught at Sitio Sacop in Bgy. Calibutbut, Bacolor.
Dimaandal said Angeles Police Station 1 operatives, together with members of the City Intelligence Unit of the Angeles City Police Station and the Bacolor police, conducted a follow-up operation on a robbery at Hong Mart in Bgy. Sto. Rosario, Angeles City.
The CCTV footage from the Command Center and nearby barangays helped in the identification and locate the suspect that led to his arrest.
Also recovered was the motorcycle used in the crime.
Robbery charges are being readied for filing in court against the suspect who is now detained at the Angeles City police jail.
