DJ SHOT DEAD IN LAS PIÑAS

RIDING-IN-TANDEM armed men on Wednesday night shot dead a club disc jockey in Las Piñas City.

The 34-year-old victim was aboard his pick-up vehicle at a gasoline station in Bgy. Pamplona Uno, when two men on a motorcycle pulled over near him around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

The suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim repeatedly before fleeing.

Authorities expressed suspicion that the killing was drug-related. This after police found from the hand of the victim a plastic sachet suspected to be containing shabu.

Police are pursuing the gunmen and investigating the motive for the killing.
