A 67-YEAR-OLD Korean national on Sunday was found hanging and dead inside his apartment in Tarlac City.
In a report to Police Regional Office director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Tarlac police identified the fatality as Myoung Seong Jang, married and a resident of Castañeda St., Bgy. San Miguel, Tarlac City.
Investigation showed that apartment caretaker Jaime Khan on Saturday knocked on the door of the apartment being occupied by the Korean national to collect rental fees.
However, the caretaker told police that no one was answering, prompting him to call the immediate relatives of Seong Jang.
The Korean national’s relatives identified as Axele Buscayno and his sister Rosalyn Buscayno arrived on Sunday and when they entered the house, they saw the lifeless victim hanging, using an extension wire, in his bedroom.
Members of the Tarlac City Police Station are investigating the incident.
