POLICE on Tuesday arrested two “high-value” targets in a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the suspects as Mark Ryan Mercado alias “Bakla,” 44, of SMDC, Bgy. Bundagul, and Tyron Dizon alias “Ron,” 29, a construction worker and a resident of Bgy. Dau, both in Mabalacat City.
Members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Mabalacat PNP conducted an entrapment at SMDC Subd. in Bgy. Bundagul that resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
Seized from the duo were 17 grams of shabu worth P115,600.
The arrested suspects are now detained at the Mabalacat City police jail facility facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
